FAQ

We answer questions with transparency and integrity. Unfortunately, sometimes there is not straight forward answer because it is out of our control. We are at the mercy of your city or HOA.

What is your payment schedule?

Form and Focus has a progress based payment structure. We require 10% or up to $1000 down.

Does Form and Focus work in my city?

We work in all of Orange County, CA.

How far out are you booked?

Our schedule can change within a week. A large factor in determining how quickly we can get to your project has to do with the scope of the job. Please call for an updated timeline.

Are you able to communicate with my HOA?

Contractors are not allowed to get involved with HOA's. Residents must submit plans and communicate exclusively with their HOA. This is not our rule, but one we must follow.

Do you design our project?

We are not designers, but we can connect you to some very talented ones. Most projects will need a design plan.

Will my project require city permits?

About 50% of the projects we do require permitting through your city.

How long does it take to get city permits?

Depending on the city you reside and the scope of the work, it could take months getting through permits

Will my project require engineered designs?

Fireplaces, patio covers and sometimes other projects require engineer designs. You may bring your own engineer design or we can refer you to an engineer.
